Al poco tiempo de esto le fue encomendado guiar sus primeros grupos de meditación . Manuel, al desear profundizar su práctica decidió intensificarla con un entrenamiento monástico, durante 7 años, en el monasterio Zen River, Holanda.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Desde marzo del 2010, al dejar el monasterio, el enfoque principal de Manuel ha sido transmitir las enseñanzas, de las cuales se siente agradecido y afortunado de haber recibido para poder beneficiar a cada quien que lo desee, con una mejor calidad de vida. Su pasión por la conciencia plena se inició hace 10 años, a través de su propia experiencia con las artes marciales, meditación e interacción con la naturaleza. Ella supo desde sus inicios en la cocina que quería satisfacer más allá de los paladares, pues creció en un hogar en donde se inculcó una manera de vivir influenciada por un estilo de vida saludable y en armonía con la naturaleza y con el ser. Dando pie a un estilo de cocina que hoy termina siendo naturalista ó ecológica, a raíz de una investigación gastronómica, naturista y espiritual a lo largo de los años.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="Default" style="text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 12pt; margin-bottom: 0pt; text-align: justify;"&gt;&lt;span class="Apple-style-span"   style=" ;font-family:verdana;font-size:100%;"&gt;Brisa descubrió por su propia experiencia, desde la adolescencia, la práctica de &lt;i&gt;Mindfulness&lt;/i&gt; a través de la práctica de meditación, yoga y cocina. Al incursionar en la cocina de monasterios budistas confirmó que el acto de cocinar y comer es una práctica también de &lt;i&gt;Mindfulness &lt;/i&gt;(conciencia plena) que nos ayuda a conectar con nuestro centro en el medio ambiente, en el presente para así beneficiarnos de las propiedades de dicha práctica.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: 12pt; Performance is optimal at moderate levels of arousal, while low anxiety and high anxiety both correlate with low performance levels. Like taking an exam, if you’re not anxious enough, you won’t care enough to perform your best. If you’re too anxious, your intellectual capacities shut down in a state of stimulus overload. After finishing my career as a medical nurse first in a hospital, later in medical homecare and eventually in a private oncolological practice, I graduated in the first German MBSR teachers education class in 2003.
